A wonderful destination ‘Al Noor Island’ is located on the Khalid Lagoon in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, where nature and art run side by side. This artificial Island is mainly based upon the newest nature theme attraction and was opened for the public in 2015. Things to See in Al Noor Island
1) Butterfly House
This Island is mainly known for floating butterflies. It’s so glorious to witness butterflies of varied species under one roof and would consume time without having to look up watches. This dreamy area is designed in such a fashion that it retains humidity and filters natural light to the place of stay. The Prominent from the lot are the ‘PINK ROSE’, ‘EMERALD SWALLOW TAIL’ and the ‘TAILED JOY’. A cafeteria is also available within the house to keep you absorbed.
2) By the Bay

How to Reach
It is located at Buhaira Corniche Road in Khalid Lagoon which is opposite Al Noor Mosque. One can take the pedestrian bridge leading to Al Noor Island from behind the Mosque Or else you can also take a cab to the location, but you will have to park the car or taxi near King Faisal Mosque and then walk from there.
